RUF Automobile GmbH and publisher Waft have collaborated on a limited run book titled “RUF” which is available now for purchase. The book is divided into two sections – “Alois and Friends” which covers Alois Ruf, the man behind the machines, and “Yellowbird and Friends” which covers the 37 RUF models produced to date.
Waft, a husband and wife publishing duo, created the book using archival photography as well as original images and text. Two versions of the book “RUF” were created – “The Limited Edition,” a hardcover version limited to 911 copies, and “The Very Limited and Personalized Edition,” which is finished in authentic Pepita Ruf seat fabric over a hardcover, custom embroidered with the RUF logo and buyer’s name and is limited to 356 copies. Combined, the two parts include 588 pages of content written in English.
