Inspired by the continued growth in consignments and sales at Dana Mecum’s Original Spring Classic—an annual destination for collector car hobbyists each May in Indianapolis—Mecum Auctions established the Indy Fall Special to cater to the strong demand of its customers and fans. This year’s Fall Special will take place Oct. 5-7 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, with an estimated 1,000 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, trucks, exotics, Hot Rods, customs and more set to cross the auction block and live TV coverage of the event to air on MotorTrendTV and MotorTrend+.
Among featured offerings slated for this year’s auction is the Burbach Collection of more than 70 Ford cars and trucks, many of which will be sold at no reserve, ranging from a 1929 Ford Model AA Stake Bed Pickup (Lot T153) to a 2016 Ford Mustang GT (Lot F23). Among the vast selection are four 1960s Broncos, approximately 30 pickup trucks comprising F100s from 1957-1970, F150s from 1988-2014, four F250s and three F350s, as well as a 1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback (Lot F40) and two GT500s from 1969 (Lots F41 and F44).
