These remarkable vehicles will headline the company’s inaugural auction at the famed Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, taking place on May 24–25, 2025.
Celebrated as the model that heralded McLaren Automotive’s modern era, the MP4-12C was shaped with direct input from both Hamilton and Button—who were not only McLaren F1 teammates at the time but also crucial to the development of this groundbreaking car. To honor their contributions, McLaren’s then-boss Ron Dennis personally gifted each champion a specially configured MP4-12C.
