The annual Mecum Chattanooga collector car auction returned to the Chattanooga Convention Center again this past weekend, as the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival took over the streets of the Tennessee city’s stunning downtown region. This year’s auction saw nearly 400 vehicles hammer sold in just two days, Oct. 13-14, with total overall sales reaching $13.2 million.
Top sales in Chattanooga were led by a 2012 Riley Daytona Prototype IMSA Racer (Lot F126) boasting a new 5.0L BMW V-8 engine and 6-speed manual transmission that was formerly campaigned by Michael Shank Racing; the car sold for $203,500. A pair of Corvettes followed in top-sale slots two and three, including one vintage 1958 (Lot S123) that had been customized with a host of modern-day upgrades, as well as a nearly new 2023 Z06 3LZ convertible model (Lot S82) in stock condition showing just 23 miles.
Other top auction sales included vehicles from around the globe, with highlights like a 2022 Mercedes-Benz G550 (Lot S156) that sold for $167,750, a 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S (Lot S213) that brought $115,500 and a 1990 Ferrari Testarossa (Lot S106) that sold for $105,600.

- 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon (Lot S155) at $121,000
- 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S (Lot S213) at $115,500
- 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible (Lot S118) at $112,750
- 1990 Ferrari Testarossa (Lot S106) at $105,600
- 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible (Lot S158) at $104,500
