Hennessey Special Vehicles has officially introduced the Venom F5 Evolution, a groundbreaking update to its hypercar lineup that solidifies its status as the most powerful internal combustion engine road car on the planet. Proudly engineered and built in the United States, the Evolution represents the pinnacle of American automotive performance, design, and innovation.

Following a rigorous development program shaped by customer feedback and high-performance demands, the Venom F5 Evolution arrives with major upgrades to its powertrain, suspension, and aerodynamics—alongside comfort enhancements that make it equally suited for grand touring and extreme track performance.

Pushing the Boundaries of Performance

At the heart of the Venom F5 Evolution is a heavily re-engineered 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8, developed in collaboration with Ilmor Engineering and supported by Hennessey’s long-time partners Shell Pennzoil and Roger Penske. Codenamed “Fury,” the updated powerplant produces a staggering 2,031 brake horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 1,445 lb-ft of torque at 5,200 rpm, making it the world’s most powerful combustion engine ever fitted to a production car.

Thanks to next-generation turbochargers, billet aluminum pistons, and extreme-duty internals, the Evolution rockets from 0 to 200 mph in just 10.3 seconds—while running on eco-friendly E85 fuel.

Next-Level Handling with Adaptive Suspension

Engineered for versatility, the new adaptive suspension system dynamically adjusts the vehicle’s handling characteristics through five selectable drive modes: Sport, Road, Drag, Wet, and the high-output F5 Mode. Whether conquering winding roads or taking on the track, the system improves ride quality, body control, and cornering confidence.

Aerodynamic Advancements for Maximum Stability

Aerodynamics play a crucial role in the Evolution’s elevated performance. Developed in partnership with Formula One and IndyCar aerodynamicist Dr. Mark Handford, the car’s revised aero package includes a redesigned front splitter, underbody tire wake deflectors, dive planes, and wheel arch louvers. A Gurney flap at the rear further enhances stability during high-speed acceleration and braking.

Touring Comfort Meets High-Speed Precision

Understanding the need for comfort on longer journeys, Hennessey has introduced optional Touring upgrades. These include ergonomically enhanced leather-wrapped carbon fiber seats, an alternative exhaust system for a quieter ride, and even a custom carbon fiber cupholder. The refined interior continues to showcase aerospace inspiration with laser-cut detailing and a carbon-rich aesthetic.

With nearly 30 Venom F5s already delivered to customers across the globe, Hennessey continues to redefine what’s possible in American hypercar engineering.
