Amalgam Collection, makers of the finest model cars in the world, are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) focused on the world’s most iconic endurance race, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Amalgam is immersed in the world of motorsport, and shares a deep passion for the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the ACO. This new cooperation with the ACO paves the way for exciting future collaborations.
The ACO was founded in 1906 and is most well known as the organization behind the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world’s oldest active endurance racing event, and still by far the most famous and significant of its kind. Less well known is that the ACO was the creator and organiser of the first grand prix in the history of motor racing, well before the Le Mans 24 Hours commenced in 1923. The ACO’s current mission is to develop endurance racing globally, and since 2012 it has been the organiser and promoter of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
Amalgam Collection created peerless scale replicas of the world’s most famous and coveted cars at 1995. Amalgam’s artisans have beautifully replicated the Le Mans race cars of the most famous marques (Bugatti, Ferrari, Jaguar, Porsche, Ford, Audi, McLaren, and Aston Martin) from the 1930s to the present day, at both 1:8 and 1:18 scale.
Ben Street, Founder, CEO of Amalgam Collection said: “It’s incredibly exciting for us to partner with the 24 Heures du Mans, one of the oldest and most prestigious automotive and motorsport organisations in the world. We are incredibly honoured to become a part of the Le Mans family, and are looking forward to seeing what the future now brings.”
