Trans Am Worldwide, exclusive builders of the modern Trans Am has announced the release of the 50th Anniversary Edition Trans Am. This edition will be limited to only 8 convertibles and 8 Hard-Tops and comes in either manual or automatic transmissions. This release comes on the heels of the sold-out 50 unit 1000hp Super Duty edition, which debuted at the 2017 New York Auto show.
“We took styling ques of the original ‘69 Trans Am and gently blended those into the current modern design, giving us a final look reminiscent of multiple generations” Said Co-Founder, Tod Warmack.
Each car will come in the original white and blue stripe combination or an optional black with gold stripes. Customers will have a choice to add one of three performance options ranging from 600-800hp and upgraded brakes and ram-air. A full retro-style interior including gauges, seats, shifter, sill plates, graphics and embroidery will be standard. The exterior will feature the iconic ram-air hood and salami spoiler and rally II style wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport S4’s.
