This is the brand new Ferrari Roma and a very first look to check it out! Join me at the launch in Rome, Italy to check out the new 2+ Sports car, a new segment for Ferrari with their latest supercar. Inspired by Ferraris of the 1960s, with design and technology from the Monza SP1/SP2 and SF90 Stradale, it’s sure to be a huge success!

Inspired by the 1960s 250 GT 2+2, the new Roma offers a sports-GT package with the latest technology and comforts combined with the award winning 3.9l TT V8. In this specification it produces 620hp and 760nm which through the new 8spd DCT means 0-100km/h in 3.4s and 0-200km/h in 9.3s before going onto a top speed of over 320km/h.

The exterior features a new style design language with hints of the recently launched Monza SP1 and SP2 with the narrow headlights and aggressively angled front grille. However it’s a new shape, that of an elegant grand tourer with an extended bonnet, the seating position back towards the rear axle and a fastback style roof line.

On the inside, inherited from the recent SF90 Stradale we can find the latest touch control steering wheel along with curved 16″ dashboard display and in this case an 8.4″ portrait central infotainment system. It includes a 5 stage Manettino including Race as well as SSC 6.0 (Slip Slide Control).

Presented to the world in Rome, the Ferrari Roma encompases the feeling of ‘La Nuova Dolce Vita’ and I’d expect it is going to be an instant success and open the brand to new markets competing against the likes of the Aston Martin DB11, AMG GT C, Bentley Continental GT and Porsche 911 Turbo S. Join me for a first look and walkaround of the brand new introduction to Ferrari’s line-up to get a feel for what it’s all about!

Thanks for watching, Tim
