Silverstone Auctions dedicated Ferrari and Porsche sale just got even better with two incredible cars consigned to their sale on the 21st September.
The one day sale features and automobilia auction at 10.30 with marque related items and then two car auctions with Ferrari starting at 12.30 and the Porsche sale at 2.30.
In the Porsche sale, Silverstone Auctions have a menacing looking Porsche Carrera GT finished in Bassalt Black and a matching black interior and just 4,300 miles on the clock as one of their headline cars.
The Carrera GT was an exclusive run of just 1270 cars fitted with a 5.5-litre V10 engine, which was originally designed for the race track, first in Formula One and then Sportscars but due to cancelled projects, it found its way into the Carrera GT.
This particular 2005 car was a German delivered example and then spent the majority of its life in Italy where it was serviced by Pavoda Porsche. It comes with the full carbon pack, £8,000 Porsche luggage set and full-body paint protection.
Estimated at £600,000 to £650,000 the car was UK registered in 2018 and has been serviced by Porsche Reading and comes with a full-service history.
The Ferrari 512 BB was launched in 1976 at the Paris Show equipped with the 5.0 litre 12-cylinder boxer engine, hence the model name 512 and the BB referring to Berlinetta Boxer. Just 929 of these cars were made until it was replaced in 1981. Out of these 929 cars only 101 were right-hand-drive and Silverstone Auctions are delighted to be offering this superb example which is one of those 101.
Finished in the classic colour combination of Rosso over Nero with a Nero hide upholstery this 1977 model has been in private ownership since 2012 and has covered just 33,500 miles. Estimated at £190,000 to £220,000 this lovely BB comes with its original order form, sales brochure, book pack and service book.
