The Mullin Automotive Museum will lend 19 works from notable California artists to the local Carnegie Art Museum for a new exhibit set to debut on June 16, 2018. The display, titled “California Artists from the Mullin Automotive Museum Collection,” will spotlight significant works that represent the rich diversity of fine art that is present in the famed automotive museum’s collection.

Although it is primarily known for its distinguished selection of classic French automobiles and grand prix race cars, the Mullin also boasts a refined display of Art-Deco furniture, paintings and sculpture as well as a broad selection of contemporary fine art pieces.

Dedicated to serving the community through education, the Carnegie Art Museum serves as a local epicenter for visual arts education. Past displays, including “Black & White & In Between: Contemporary Art from the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation” and “The Avalanche and The Silence / New Works by Linda Arreola,” have traditionally explored the theme of California culture and history.

The upcoming exhibit “California Artists from the Mullin Automotive Museum Collection” will run through August 19, 2018. For more information about artwork and cars in the Mullin Automotive Museum collection, please visit www.MullinAutomotiveMusuem.com.
