Gunther Werks, the California-based masters of bespoke Porsche 911 reengineering, has unleashed its most exclusive creation yet—the GWX. Designed for a select few, with only three builds planned worldwide, this invite-only program pushes the air-cooled platform to a new realm of performance and precision.
At its core, the GWX houses a second-generation 4.0L flat-six producing 440 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. This isn’t just an engine upgrade—it’s an engineering statement. Featuring advanced sliding throttle body plates and a custom-developed drive-by-wire slide valve system, the GWX delivers instantaneous throttle response and unrestricted airflow at full attack, making it the sharpest and most responsive Gunther Werks machine yet.

Every GWX wears completely bespoke carbon-fiber bodywork, crafted exclusively for this program:
- Vented front fenders
- Rear quarter panels
- Flared side skirts
- Race Edition front bumper
- Vented rear bumper with diffuser
- Frame-mounted rear wing with decklid ram air scoop
- Carbon-fiber hood
Optimized aerodynamics mean improved downforce, while Turbo-derived rear chassis bracing boosts rigidity for track-level handling.

Visually, the GWX stuns in its exclusive Candy Purple paint, developed in-house and unavailable on any other Gunther Werks build. A silver pinstripe and exposed herringbone carbon-fiber center stripe running from hood to tail make each car an unmistakable one-off.
This is Gunther Werks without limits—a celebration of engineering, performance, and rarity that hardcore Porsche purists will never forget.
