The OPINARI – Driver’s Essentials company was created in 2016 with the mission to let you drive better and to drive in style with the use of our personal car-related accessories. The idea for OPINARI came about when we witnessed a Ferrari roll into a local car event with a stunning lady driver at the wheel. She was dressed to kill, perfectly matching the spec of her black 458 Italia. Being the only one to properly match her outfit to the car, her appearance struck us and right then and there OPINARI was born. Since she was the only one of all the visitors who matched the image of their cars, we understood it was time for a change!

We have noticed a shocking difference between the mindset of motorists and motorcyclists. Whereas motorcyclists often purchase multiple outfits before even acquiring a motorcycle, motorists are way more conservative when it comes to automotive lifestyle accessories. “Just think of the effect the TV-series Son’s of Anarchy had on certain products” mentions Sander Everlo, Founder of OPINARI – Driver’s Essentials. “Leather jackets were flying off the shelf and beard products were selling like hotcakes. One’s outfit and personal appearance are a form of expression that creates certain solidarity, a sense of belonging.”

Our goal is, therefore, to stimulate petrolheads to express their passion to a bigger extent and become one with their vehicle in order to maximize their driving experience and letting drivers connect with each other.

The designs take inspiration from automotive icons from the past and the present. The OPINARI driving gloves line consists of two collections. The Time Honoured driving gloves collection focuses on drivers of classic vehicles whereas the Velocity driving gloves collection focuses on drivers of modern-day sports cars. The driving gloves are made of Pecarry leather, hands down the highest quality Pecarry leather, and are handcrafted by highly skilled artisans in Italy.
