What: The Velocity Invitational is a luxury, food, wine and motorsports festival that was formerly known as the Sonoma Speed Festival. The lineup of cars attending the Velocity Invitational now includes the James Hetfield Collection, courtesy of the Petersen Automotive Museum. The 1934 “Acquarius,” 1953 Buick Skylark “Skycraper,” 1936 Auburn Speedster “Slow Burn,” 1937 Coupe “Crimson Ghost,” 1956 Ford F-100 “Str8 Edge,” 1948 Jaguar “Black Pearl,” 1937 Lincoln Zephyr “Voodoo Priest” and 1963 Lincoln Continental “Dead Kennedy” will all be present at this year’s event as part of a special display.
This is the first of several activations planned as part of a partnership between Velocity Invitational and the Petersen Automotive Museum. More information will be shared soon.

When: The cars will be on display the duration of the event which runs from Thursday, November 11 to Sunday, November 14, 2021.
