Royce YC Hong and Azizi Tucker founded XING Mobility in 2015 with the vision of innovating industry-changing electric vehicle technology through the development of racecars and supercars. Royce, a serial entrepreneur who has run multiple businesses had always dreamed of designing high performance cars.
Meanwhile, California-born racing enthusiast Azizi had been working in the auto industry in Detroit, before moving on to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and Tesla Motors. Azizi and Royce met at TEDxTaipei, where they discovered a mutual obsession for cars and disruptive technology. Believing that some of the world’s most advanced mobility technology derives from the racetracks, XING Mobility’s vehicles act as testbeds from which many of XING Mobility’s electric vehicle technology concepts are born.
