On display was the mythical Maserati 250 F with which the “Chueco” won its five-time world championship at Nürburgring. Designed in 1954 it was a completely revolutionary machine. With a weight of 630 kg, the car reached a maximum speed of 300 km/h, something truly spectacular at the time. This Maserati model achieved 8 victories including its last triumph at the German Grand Prix 1957, considered by many to be one of the best races in the history of Formula 1.

Those latest were named after the famous Sicilian road race he contested in 1953 and 1955, finishing third and second respectively.

The evening was also the occasion to celebrate the past, present and future connection TAG Heuer keeps with motor racing. The sport anchor and journalist Roberto Berasategui challenged the guests at the Gran Turismo Sport video game that integrates TAG Heuer through time keeping, track side banners, rankings, countdowns and car branding. The game also features a TAG Heuer museum section, where players can learn about notable events in the history of auto racing and TAG Heuer.
